My sketchbooks help me slow down and deeply connect with my surroundings by portraying their ever-changing beauty in watercolor landscape paintings.
My Natural Sketches
As I capture the details of leaves, the curves of petals, or the play of light and shadow, I feel a sense of peace and focus.
Through my sketches, my goal is to share this sense of wonder and tranquility with others, while appreciating the subtle colors, textures, and shapes of each form of natural life.

Outdoor Sketches
I love going out to paint early in the morning.
The streets are almost empty, or with few people around, allowing me to enjoy the peacefulness and cool air fully.
I usually know where I want to paint right away. Then I use my minimal setup to complete a sketch within 1 to 1.5 hours.

My Sketchbook
I love testing colors, doing monochrome studies, or sketching random little things in my sketchbook!
Maybe it’s because I always feel so relaxed when using my sketchbook, that I just can’t help but keep going… flipping to the next page… and then the next…

This is a valley near my home, with a red-roofed house at the end of the trail.
There are traces of rabbits and deer nearby, but they are easily startled, so I painted a nighttime version.
